This is my most requested recipe. I even have kids ask me for this recipe so now I can save myself some time and tell them to print it off the website. --Kim @ LaFontain Confections 
This recipe is quick and easy because you mix them up by hand with no beaters to drag out and wash up. Who wouldn't like to come home from school to some fresh, soft and warm delicious chocolate chip cookies.

"No-Beaters" Chocolate Chip Cookies
Preheat oven to 350°
3/4 cup white sugar
3/4 cup packed light brown sugar 2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup (1 stick) melted butter (real butter is best to use)
2 eggs (don't let them cook in the melted butter - stir!)
Mix all ingredients by hand and then stir in:
2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 bag (6oz. chocolate chips) or more if you like
Scoop spoonfulls onto greased baking sheet and bake for 12 minutes. Let them rest for a minute before removing to a cooling rack. Enjoy them while they're warm. |
